Mary Oliver is a licensed and ordained minister and president of Open Heart Ministry. She has served in Christian leadership for over 24 years. Formally a Foursquare pastor and counselor, Mary is passionate about the kingdom of God invading earth through the revelation of Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection. A unique aspect of Mary's ministry is the Hebraic perspective she brings to her teaching. Having married a Messianic Jewish man and serving as a pastor of a Messianic Jewish congregation her theological perspective is enriched with the depth that the original Bible language and Jewish culture offer.
Mary is committed to training and equipping people in health and wellness, as a facilitator in personal healing, spirit, soul and body and helping people reach their goals in living a purpose-filled life. Part of this commitment includes a vision to establish church-based Courage House Healing Centers that provide prayer, training, education, activation and impartation to the community for healing of individuals with life-defining illnesses and to their caregivers.
She is the developer of PrayerCare Therapy™, a biblically based integrative therapy for healing of the spirit, soul and body.
She has her Master's degree in Theology of Professional Counseling, a B.A. in Theology, a diploma in Nutritional Counseling and is licensed in Washington State in therapeutic care of the body . She is continuing her education in a doctorate of Pastoral Naturopathic Ministry.
